Chakra Balancing - Throat Chakra

CHAKRA BALANCING

Throat Chakra – (Vishuddha) – Blue
This is the fifth of the seven major chakras and associated with the element Ether. The Throat Chakra is regarded as an important ‘bridge’ from the heart, in the raising of consciousness through the sequential activation of the chakras from the base to the crown of the head. In a sense it really is a bridge, because it takes us from one side of our body to the other side, into spiritual realms.
Energy imbalances in this Chakra manifest as ear, nose, throat and respiratory problems in the physical body. As it comes into balance, we learn to feel truly that we are ‘in our body’ and can express the creative and life-affirming aspects of ourselves.
The Throat Chakra can help us to be powerful beyond words, an aspect shown by its traditional symbolic animal, an elephant.
A deficiency of energy of energy at this chakra can make us feel afraid, timid and manipulative. An excess of energy brings a dogmatic nature, arrogance or self-righteousness, or makes us excessive talkers. A simple way to clear your Throat Chakra is to tap it three times with your fingertips. Do this whenever you have difficulty expressing yourself.

A few main characteristics are:
Colour – Turquoise / Blue
Key Issues – Self-expression, communication and will
Physical Location – Between the collarbone and larynx in the neck
Inner Aspect – Expression
Physical action – Communication

Spiritual action – Security

Mental States and the Throat Chakra

Chakra Balancing - Heart Chakra

Heart Chakra – (Anahata) – Green
This is the fourth of the seven major chakras and associated with the element Air. It is positioned in the centre of the chest and is connected to the Thymus Chakra. The Heart Chakra is not primarily about falling in love; it is not a sentimental kind of love. Instead its fire is fuelled by the love of creation – the same love that causes us to delight in the small but free things in life, the sky during sunset and sunrise. The moon at its fullest.
All romantic love is motivated by our constant search for union with the source of love. The highest form of romantic love is given to us when we can give to others unconditionally. If we can learn to respect and understand another person’s feelings, then we will also feel at peace within ourselves.

A few main characteristics are:
Colour – Green and/or Pink
Key Issues – Passion, tenderness, inner child issues and rejection
Physical Location – At the centre of the chest on the sternum
Inner Aspect – Unconditional love and compassion
Physical action – Circulation
Mental action – Passion
Spiritual action – Devotion

Mental States and the Heart Chakra
Negative – Emotionally unstable, self-indulgent and sentimental, jealous and lustful, procrastinating and indecisive.
Positive – Compassionate, open and cooperative, gives unconditional love leading to contentment, harmony, balance and grace.

Our heart love is expressed through our hands: it is natural to pick up a child who is hurt and cradle him or her near your heart. It is natural to touch another person in compassion if they are sad. It is natural to hold hands with your lover, and to express your love for them with your hands.

Good crystals for this chakra are Rose Quartz, Aventurine, Kunzite Pink, Green and Watermelon Tourmaline, Morganite, Ruby, Peridot, Rhodonite and Rhodocrosite.

Good essential oils that have a sympathetic resonance with the Heart Chakra are Rose, Melissa and Neroli.

Chakra Balancing - Solar Plexus Chakra

CHAKRA BALANCING

Solar Plexus Chakra – (Manipura) – Yellow
This is the third of the seven major chakras and associated with the element Fire. Think of the solar plexus chakra as the sun in your body. This chakra is positioned over one of the main regions of the body that reacts to stress. This plexus of nerves can often be felt as a tight knot if you press the area just below the sternum. If you feel discomfort, there is some stress or blockage. To heal this you might try to remove yourself from the source of stress; improve your health; begin a routine of meditation and chakra ‘nourishment’ or seek the help of a healer.

A few main characteristics are:
Colour – Yellow
Key Issues – Power, Fear, Anxiety and Introversion.
Physical Location – Between the navel and the bottom of the sternum.
Inner Aspect – Opinion and Personal power.
Physical action – Digestion
Mental action – Power
Emotional action – Expansiveness
Spiritual action – Growth

Mental States and the solar plexus chakra
Negative – Arrogant, hypocritical, incompetent, inflexible, concerned with power and fame, unable to finish things, underlyingly selfish.

Solar plexus imbalances will leave you feeling extremely edgy and depleted in energy. You may become depressed, insecure and fearful. If this continues, the problems can become imprinted and habitual. However when you overcome this, and you chakra is balanced, depression turns to joy, insecurity turns to the experience of love, and fearfulness turns into confidence in any situation.

Good crystals for this chakra are Citrine, Tigers Eye, Lemon Quartz and Malachite.

Good essential oils that have a sympathetic resonance with this chakra are, Clary sage, Juniper and Geranium.

You can also wear more yellow clothes or eat more yellow foods, like banana, lemons or yellow capsicum.

Chakra Balancing - Sacral Chakra

CHAKRA BALANCING

Sacral Chakra – (Svadisthana) – Orange
This is the second of the seven major chakras and associated with the element Water, it is traditionally associated with sexual energy. It does not correspond with the sex organs, but to the original life-sustaining energy behind sexual impulse.
When this chakra is fully developed, it produces the necessary radiance to unite in a bond of love with another soul and fuels the growth of consciousness to enlightenment. Because this chakra is concerned with assimilation of sexual expression and food, as well as ideas and creativity, it is often referred to as the centre of self-expression and joy.

Any negative emotions held at the Sacral Chakra, such as anger and fear, can eventually cause illness. Nowadays we are told to face our fears, but this is not always appropriate; instead, use those fears as a warning and start to change your patterns of behaviour so that you learn from what once stressed you or caused you fear. People in life threatening situations have sometimes found that their fear is transformed by sending their aggressors unconditional love.
Stress to his chakra causes us to put up defences to avoid our true feelings, especially concerning someone of the opposite sex.
When the radiance of the Sacral chakra begins to flow more freely, the ability to feel both pain and pleasure increases – sometimes in bitter-sweet love affairs. This can make it a real test of courage to move beyond our defences, regain our true self and experience loving intimacy. It is necessary to let you go of past fears, disillusionments and disappointed romantic expectations, which are all unneeded energy imprints held in this chakra.

A few main characteristics are:
Colour – Orange
Key Issues – Relationships, violence, addictions.
Physical Location – Upper part of the sacrum below the navel.
Inner Aspect – Feeling
Physical action – Reproduction
Mental action – Creativity
Emotional action – Joy
Spiritual action – Enthusiasm

Mental states and the Sacral chakra
Negative – Over-indulgent; materialistic; moody; possessive; lazy; jealous; envious
Positive – Kind, receptive, tolerant, creative, respectful, tender and intimate, works positively.

Good crystals for this chakra are…Carnelian, Moonstone, Shiva Lingham, and brown tourmaline.

Good essential oils that have a sympathetic resonance with the Sacral chakra are Sandalwood, Jasmine, Rose oil, Ylang Ylang and Champaca.

You can simply close your eyes and focus on the colour orange around your navel area.

You can wear more orange clothes and also eat more orange foods.

Have an Empowering week and Enjoy:-)
