The Power of the Mind

It is the mind that makes people human. Values, norms, and beliefs that every individual learns through the course of life are dependent on a number of hereditary and environmental factors. However, these factors are all processed by the human mind. In this case, the mind is separate from the brain. The brain is only the center of all human process. It is the functional control room of the body.

It allows us to respond to stimuli in our environment that we perceive through our sensory organs. The mind on the other hand has different functions. It controls different ego levels in people’s personalities. The mind is what governs decision making based on the morals that people develop through their lives.

For people to learn to control their minds, they must first have mastery over their bodies. It is not possible for people to truly be in control of themselves if they do not have high awareness levels. This means that people should focus on every little detail, and manage to simultaneously function as holistic beings. Once the body is at the disposal of the mind, the only thing left is to use the mind objectively.

Harnessing the energy and the capabilities of the mind allows people to unleash great power which resides within them. The realization of this power effectively completes the process of self-actualization, making it possible for people to reach their full potential. Control over the mind implies control over mental state, peace, and activity.
